Performance Physiology, We Keep It Simple.

Dear Dr. Batley (Jason),

Hope you’re doing well and having a good Fall 2016 in Charlotte.

On behalf of the United States Olympic Committee, I wish to congratulate you and thank you for your valuable contribution to the extraordinary success of Team USA at the RIO 2016 Olympics. Specifically, congratulations on the performance of the SwimMAC Elite athletes (Cammile Adams, Katie Meili, Kathleen Baker, Ryan Lochte, Jimmy Feigen), which contributed to the 33 total medals won by USA Swimming.  Your tireless commitment to these US Olympic athletes in the area of sports medicine was a critical factor in allowing them to preform optimally in the Olympic Games. Please know that it is recognized, respected and greatly appreciated!

On a personal note, it was an honor and pleasure to work with you in a preparation for RIO 2016. I am very happy for the success of the SwimMAC Elite athletes because I know how hard you and they have worked over the past four years. Again, thank you for your valuable contribution to the extraordinary success of TEAM USA and USA Swimming at the RIO 2016 Olympics.  I wish you continued success, happiness, and good health.  Please let me know if I can help you with anything from here at the US Olympic Training Center.  I do hope that we will have the opportunity to work together again in the future.

Sincerely and Respectfully,

Randall L. Wilber, Ph.D., FACSM
